Sweet Tapioca (2023) is based on the Chinese tradition of making and eating tangyuan during Dongzhi (Winter Solstice Festival). Present in this piece are motifs of non-traditional balls such as boba and dango.

Chibs () stands for Chick in a Business Suit, They're a potato chip-shaped chick who's always seen wearing formal outfits no matter the occasion.Belline () is a bell-shaped cat that cannot meow.
These are characters I designed back in 2012. Since then, some of their features have evolved a little.
Everything else that's not pure fluff. Basically anything I'd consider PG and above. Some horror and nudity, but no explicit sexual content.

The below are summaries of some of my original story-based projects.
Irianne's ideal life was worlds apart from an adventurer's. She would rather be peacefully living a stable life, but a false accusal of a grave crime led to her being sentenced to death by decapitation. During her execution, a deity's curse activated and catapulted her severed head towards the skies. Her death was paused.This is the story of Irianne's journey to retrieve her head that has been cursed to drift with the clouds in the sky.Main Characters
Irianne (矞漣) - a reluctant adventurer who's only out there to seek a way to get her head back
Cahaya (茶颯) - Irianne's tiny but lightning-fast bird familiar
“The Emperor has lost his marbles!”
...literal marbles. These marbles are magical artifacts scattered across the kingdom during a failed robbery attempt on the Sky Courier transporting them. By royal decree, a kingdomwide search for marbles commences, turning into a competition among adventurers. Creatures that swallow marbles turn into mightier, frenzied forms, making retrieval of some marbles more challenging. Adventurers who gather enough marbles earn their entry into the royal compounds for potential rewards.This story follows Gairah, a fledgling adventurer who has decided to join in the kingdomwide hunt for marbles, only to find himself getting roped into matters beyond his expectations.Main Characters
Gairah (凱良) - a young man influenced by his parents' idealisation and idolatry of adventurers.
Gaisen (凱旋) - Gairah's older brother who has set out on his journey earlier
Eitan (伟旦) - a travelling researcher who joins Gairah in search of marbles
Shaolan (劭岚) - an adventurer who believes in righteousness, who once witnessed what seemed to be a prophecy in a dream
Sotil (龙哲) - a yellow dragon that lives by a giant pansophic tree, known to most simply as the Wise Dragon. He's the only creature able to see possibilities of fate communicated by the tree.
Laura (龙桂) - Sotil's younger sister who excels in illusory magic
Gisella (祈世赖) - a mysterious witch

Marty & Marcovy
Set in a world where it's unthinkable to eat meat, Marty and Marcovy is a series of nonlinear episodic comic shorts about housemates Marty ('more tea') and Marcovy ('more coffee').Marty and Marcovy were once strangers living in the same neighbourhood whose lives rarely intersected. Due to bureaucratic mishaps with the postal service which frustratingly never got rectified, they kept getting each other's parcels by mistake. Mutually finding it a pain to keep handing parcels to each other, they agreed on a solution, that is to move in together.Slice-of-life, with bits of absurd fantasy and bites of vegetarian food.Characters
Marty (麻迪) - a laidback oddball, but take his tea away and he becomes more solemn and rigid than Marcovy
Marcovy (麻伽威) - a rule-stickler workaholic, but deprive him of coffee and he turns into a more erratic weirdo than Marty
Halya (海姜) - Marty's sister, a gal as refreshing and spicy as ginger milk tea
Angie Ding (丁艳琦) - an energetic postal worker who may be dyslexic...
Ryan Cai (蔡良) - a guy-next-door who's as chill as a cooling herbal tea
One of my first projects that isn't just a one-off short story. It's still my 'baby' that I'm most attached to. I started designing the characters and stories when I was still in school.Zhenhui and Liyan are friends with a shared childhood love for fantasy books. As children, Liyan preferred fairytales with happily-ever-afters, while Zhenhui leant towards urban legends and the paranormal. They live in a world where the supernatural exists but is still mostly hidden, so just like in our world, the general populace's beliefs on the topic varies.In recent years, a new legend has spread, of an enigmatic sorcerer called Othninto. Humans think of him as a protective figure that eradicates evil spirits, while supernatural beings think of him as a figure to be feared. Who is Othninto really?

Biyou (碧悠), a.k.a. Miss Ink was a character I designed back in 2014. She's a mermaid-like character but instead of a fish tail, she has an ink brush for a tail. Her Chinese name is a play on the characters 笔 (bi: pen/brush) and 游 (you: swim/play)

Chu, a gluttonous virtual persona who typically wears a pudding hat, bean hairties and is outfitted in layers of blues, yellows and browns.
Quick character concepts without roles in my story projects.From left to right:
◇ Their dream was to be a warrior superhero with physical combat prowess, but the powers-that-be bestowed them ✰magical girl powers✰ instead. Making the best of their situation, they unravelled the big front bow of their assigned outfit to wear as a scarf like their favourite superhero. Refusing to use ✰sparkly magic✰, they use their wand as a versatile melee weapon instead.
◇ Art Union challenge to design a fairy based on personalised themes (evil, butterfly wings, sword-wielding, mushroom outfit). I created an evil cannibal mushroom fairy that eats all kinds of shrooms, with wings based on Greta oto (glasswing butterfly) wings folded into a cape. She wields a sword to cut down other mushrooms.
